Avogadro Energy presents MODULA, a next-generation biomass boiler equipped with an advanced, inclined, reciprocating moving-grate combustion system. Designed for maximum efficiency, MODULA can burn a wide range of fuels with moisture content up to 55%, offering the flexibility required across industrial and commercial applications.

The vertical configuration and generously sized combustion chamber help minimize emissions, achieving levels well below regulatory limits. With MODULA, Avogadro Energy delivers an eco-friendly, reliable solution for high performance without environmental compromise.

The MODULA combustion chamber features water-cooled walls insulated with refractory materials, resistant to flame temperatures up to 1200 °C. The water jacket reduces refractory thickness (extending service life) and enables heat recovery to preheat combustion air or process water for thermal applications.

MODULA ensures optimal performance and reduced maintenance thanks to vertically arranged tubes that limit fouling and an automatic cleaning system that prevents dust and deposit build-up in both the heat exchanger and the combustion chamber.

An airtight, automatic ash-removal system guarantees efficient, continuous operation. The advanced combustion control software—validated on multiple fuel types—adapts quickly to sudden fuel changes, while redundant safety logic manages every operating scenario.

The entire MODULA design complies with the following standards and directives: UNI EN 12953-10:2005, UNI EN 12952-12:2005, 2014/68/EU (PED), 2006/42/EC (Machinery), and UNI EN 18828, ensuring a state-of-the-art and safe solution for diverse energy needs.
