SL Model - Low Pressure Steam Generator
SL steam generator: pressurized monobloc system, 100–3,000 kg/h, PED/UNITS11325-3 exempt, delivered complete with safety equipment.
SL – Low Pressure Steam Generator
The SL steam generator is a monobloc, pressurized combustion system for industrial use, designed for the production of steam ranging from 100 to 3,000 kg/h. It is available in two versions: one with a design pressure of 0.5 bar and another with 0.98 bar.
The version with a pressure of 0.5 bar is excluded from the scope of the PED directive and therefore, in Italy, does not require continuous supervision, commissioning, or periodic inspections.
The version with a design pressure of 0.98 bar is excluded from the scope of the UNI TS 11325-3 standard and, in Italy, is exempt from the continuous presence of a licensed operator, as provided by Article 39 of Ministerial Decree 21/05/1974.
Built according to the most advanced technologies, this model is equipped with a large cylindrical, flame-reversal furnace, closed at the rear end. Thanks to the pressurization that develops in the combustion chamber, the flue gases are directed back towards the front, passing through the tube bundle, into the smoke collection chamber, and then towards the chimney.
The SL boiler is designed to operate with various types of liquid or gaseous fuels and is delivered complete, ready for installation, with all the required protection and safety devices.
